nabilmmezher (talk · contribs) I am a year long member of the wikipedia community, often using the encyclopedia for research rather than contributing to it. I have begun to do such over the past month, and am beginning to consider applying to be a sysop. Nabilmmezher 00:34, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
Reviews
- Well, there really isn't anything to review. Under this username you haven't made any significant contributions. It sounds like you have done a lot more editing anonymously. Is it possible you can post the IP which you used to do this?Chupper 22:18, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, nabilmmezher. I read about your aspirations about adminship. However, adminship is a rigorous test that sometimes, even the best users I know fail to pass. For example, according to the edit count tool, you only have 23 edits. To think about candidateship, 2000 is the bare minimum of edits to many Wikipedians. I highly suggest that you read over Wikipedia policy first. Then, move on to things that interest you. From then on, there's many paths you can take: vandal fighting, newpage patrolling, looking for unsourced/untagged images. You should also look at Wikipedian functions, such as XfD's and the like. Be vigilant and stay calm when things get rough (it will be inevitable) and you'll be fine. Don't worry about adminship yet, it's too early right now. bibliomaniac15 22:22, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- I believe my Atlantis and Hastings contributions are my most favorite topics to read and contribute to, sometimes anonymously, though. Though I have not done much, I also like to review others and help support (or oppose) them for Administative status.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- Yes, as many of my Atlantis contributions are slightly controversial, and Administators generally delete them. But I handle this quite well, I believe, as I edit my work and submit it again, but with less specific information on the topic. I write about Atlantis' past, which not many have any knowledge or interest about, but I find it interesting. I will deal with these problems the same way I have been dealing with them for about a year now.
